Rosa Vanzella

Rosa Vanzella, CEO of Burson Brasil, brings over 30 years of communication experience to her role, spanning newsrooms, agencies, and diverse sectors including Food & Beverages, Retail, Tourism, Financial Services, Health, Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Education, and Automotive. Her background also includes public sector communication roles for the São Paulo State Government, Salvador City Hall, and the Ministry of Health. Rosa’s expertise lies in strategic communication planning, reputation and crisis management, strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, and advocacy campaigns. She has led complex communication operations for significant mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and other critical initiatives for both local and global companies in the Brazilian market. Under Rosa’s leadership, Burson Brazil underwent a strategic integration process with the global brand and the Brazilian brand Máquina, solidifying its position as a top-four PR group in the country and establishing itself as a creative and innovative company. Her clients at Grupo Burson include AB Inbev, BASF, Intel, Coca-Cola, Novo Nordisk, EY, BMW, Grupo Boticário, Colgate, Natura, Xerox, Abear – Brazilian Association of Airlines Companies, Bridgestone, Carrefour, Credit Suisse, C&A, Hospital Albert Einstein, Volkswagen, SEBRAE, Whirlpool, and Embratur. A graduate in Journalism from Cásper Líbero Foundation and a specialist in Corporate Communication Management from Fundação Dom Cabral, Rosa possesses extensive knowledge of Communication, ESG, and digital marketing. She was appointed co-CEO of BCW Brazil Group (BCW and Máquina brands) in June 2018 and named CEO of Burson Brazil Group in June 2024. Since 2023, she has served as Vice-President of Abracom – Brazilian Association of Communication Agencies, having previously served as Private Market Director for two years.
